  1. Foam roll the IT bands. Hurts like mad, but it works. Also search for something called “IT straps” on Amazon. I’ve had my share of problems with IT bands and that’s done the trick.

    • I actually bought an IT strap during my last marathon training (and even wore it during Chicago). It does work really well! IT bands are on the mend…just waiting for the next thing to start hurting!
